CXR Survival Course for Doctors
It is a First of its Kind in India, organized by  us, designed to provide formal teaching on different disease presentations and commonly missed diagnoses. Clear, well structured information that would be useful to doctors from all specialties is delivered.

Why Crash Course

The CXR is the most frequently requested imaging investigation in hospital medicine. Or general practice. Despite this, many doctors lack the necessary confidence when interpreting CXRs.

Whatever your specialty - as a FY1, FY2 or Specialist Registrar - this one day course will help you with CXR interpretation.
The teaching format is based on short lectures, interactive tutorials and the opportunity for you to analyse sets of images at a workstation.

What is Covered in the Course?

Most of the abnormalities that are commonly seen on chest radio graphs are discussed on the course. Specific time is spent on:
  1. The basics of chest radiology, brief essential  technical aspects.
  2. Basic normal radiographic anatomy
  3. An A,B,C,D approach to chest x-ray interpretation.
  4. A quick’ pattern–recognition’ approach to chest x-ray interpretation.
  5. Cover commonly seen lung and heart diseases.
  6. Case based CXR interpretation

How does this course help trainees?

The teaching received by most medical students and junior doctors about chest radiographs is often opportunistic and variable. This course is intensive, thoroughly well designed, and skilfully presented. Owing to the frequent discussion of radiograph films in pairs, the large amount of information presented becomes easy to digest and most participants come away feeling better equipped to interpret chest radiograph films.

Matrimandir

About My Guru

A great teacher, inspiration, and example of a loving, balanced, and elightened modern Guru was Swamiji Vethahiri Maharishi. A personal teacher (true Guru) to many including myself, as well as the Spiritual leader and founder-trustee of The World Community Service Center. Swami Vethathiri Maharishi took samadhion March 28th of2006 at the age of 96. He founded the World Community Service Center in Chennai in 1958 and established 300 yoga centres all over the world.
